Continuity and innovation

MAY+SPIES has built up a strong reputation as a versatile paper processing enterprise and outstanding supplier of contemporary and specialized paper products. Founded in 1920, the traditional family business has developed into a modern group of companies that operates in all relevant markets worldwide and is committed to innovative products of consistently high quality. Starting with the production and sale of office supplies, MAY+SPIES soon used advanced technology to focus on high-quality paper products for the graphic industry. In addition to producing exquisite envelopes and processing a comprehensive range of paper and cardboard products, our portfolio also includes the manufacture of adhesive labels and various products for laser and inkjet printers.

Expertise and synergies Today, our European and global distribution partners are supplied from our logistics centre in Düren. The head office is also located here. Our companies in Switzerland and Austria handle their customer service from their own warehouses. In total, the MAY+SPIES Group employs around 170 people in 10 operating subsidiaries and sister companies, enabling it to successfully pool expertise along the entire value chain.

Reliability and flexibility

Nowadays, we supply our European and international distribution partners from our logistics center in Düren, Germany. This is also the site of our administrative headquarters. Our subsidiaries in Switzerland and Austria serve customers directly, from their own warehouses. The requirements that all types of paper need to meet for commercial and private use are diverse and challenging. Our dedicated MAY+SPIES workforce uses state-of-the-art technology to provide a high degree of reliability and flexibility when it comes to meeting individual customer requests. The foundation for consistently high standards is provided by our quality assurance system pursuant to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
